Volunteer Opportunities

Book Cellar Staff

The Book Cellar is a wonderful way to contribute to the Mt. Lebanon community welcoming and assisting customers in the used bookstore. Clerks are trained to handle money transactions, answer questions, and restock shelves.  Sorters evaluate and sort books that may go on sale in The Book Cellar store. There is limited availability for sorters.  Visit The Book Cellar webpage and use the contact form to inquire about volunteering. All volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Gardening

Gardeners are needed from April through November, to help maintain the library gardens, courtyard and surrounding areas. They meet on Monday mornings from 9:30 – 12 noon. Stop by if you are interested in volunteering.

Teen Planning Committee

Are you interested in planning teen events and displays at the library? Print and complete this application to be considered for the Teen Planning Committee for the 2025-2026 school year. Return your completed application to Teen Librarian Miss Katie at the library.
