Programming Fundamentals with Python

Python is a powerful and popular programing language that is welcoming to both first time programmers and those with experience with other languages. Students will work with Python to learn the fundamentals of programming – data types, functions, structure and control flow. Students are welcome to bring their own laptops or use library-provided laptops during class sessions.

Build a Website

Students will learn how to build a basic website from scratch. This 5-part series will introduce the principal language of front-end web design and the building blocks of the web: HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery).  Students are welcome to bring their own laptops, or use library-provided laptops during class sessions.
