Compete with friends and enjoy some new and classic board and card games in this casual monthly teen gaming day!

Create Your Own Rock Candy With Citizens Science Lab
Monday, February 10th from 3:30 - 5 PM
Teens are invited to learn about the candy-making process and crystalize their own delicious rock candy! This program includes candy to take home. Registration is open to the first 15 teens! This STEM program is generously sponsored by Matt’s Maker Space. Space is limited, open to the first 15 teens. Please sign up on our website.

An after-school drop in arts program with different weekly themes! February’s projects include candy heart catapults and marshmallow igloos.

Teen Screen Video Gaming Day
Friday February 14th 3:30 in the Learning Lab
Enjoy some friendly video game competition with friends after school on the big screen! This monthly event features a variety of the library’s many video game systems.

A small, fun, and engaging drop in science project! February’s STEM event is creating slime!

Finch Fridays

Explore some basic coding and robotics hands-on with our Finch robots once a month!

Teen Sound Studio
Tuesday, February 24th, 3:30 PM in the Learning Lab
Once a month, teen musicians, storytellers, poets, and podcasters are invited to utilize the library’s ipads, macbooks, and an assortment of  
unusual instruments for open studio time to work on and record songs and spoken word material!

Friday, February 28th, 3:30 PM in the Learning Lab
Drop in to submit items and take a brief survey to commemorate Leap Day 2020! The capsule will be sealed, to be opened next Leap Day, in 2024!
