Homebound Delivery

  • What is HomeBound Delivery
  • HomeBound delivery is an outreach program of Mt. Lebanon Public Library. It enables homebound residents of Mt. Lebanon to use the library's resources without coming to the library itself.

  • Who is Eligible
  • Mt. Lebanon residents, regardless of age, who are in private homes, retirement homes, hospitals or nursing homes and are unable to visit the library because of temporary of permanent physical, visual or other limitation may receive HomeBound delivery.

  • How Does it Work
  • Any of the library's circulating materials including books, large print books, audiobooks, magazines, music CDs and videos may be requested. You can request specific materials or staff can select materials based on your Reader Profile. Library volunteers will deliver and pick up all items from your place of residence. Deliveries are made as soon as possible upon request.

  • How Do you Join
  • It's easy. Complete the HomeBound Reader Profile and send it to the library or call 412-531-1912 and ask for HomeBound Delivery. A librarian will be happy to assist you.
