This collection of circulating books is located in the Children’s Library and is primarily for parents and teachers. These books cover a range of sensitive topics and are specifically designed to be shared with children. Also included are resource books for daycare, preschool, and elementary school teachers. Books shelved here are designated by call numbers followed by “P-T”. Other resources for parents and teachers may be found in the adult section of the library.

An extensive paper and pamphlet resource file for and about individuals with special needs is located in the Adult Library. These resources include informational materials as well as contact information for support groups and organizations. This collection is organized and maintained by concerned parents, in collaboration with the Mt. Lebanon School District and the Mt. Lebanon Public Library. These materials do not circulate, but may be copied in the library.
